Rheneas is a carmine engine on the Skarloey Railway, and one of the oldest engines on the Island of Sodor.
Bio
A gallant little engine, Rheneas works on the line which weaves around lakes and mountains. A very proper, old engine, he is dedicated to doing his job well. He became famous by bringing a train full of passengers home through the most awful weather, even though he seriously injured himself.
Historical Note:
"Rheneas is based on a narrow gauge, industrial tank engine, built in England in the 1860s."
